Watch the interview and answer the questions in the commentary section:
1. What was the main topic of the interview?
2. Did Diana have any problems in the royal family? If yes, which ones?
3. Was her union with Prince Charles an ideal one? If not, why?
1- The main topic of this interview is the discussion of her royal life, the issues of her illness and depression, and the discussion of the relationship with Diana's husband.
ReplyDelete2-I don’t believe the royal family hated Diana. But they did not know what to do with her. They did not understand her emotional outbursts. This is a touchy subject and we can really go off why Diana thought they didn’t like her. in her interview Diana stated that
"I don't think many people will want me to be Queen."
She continued to say that by "people" she really means the establishment she married into and feels they decided that she was a "non-starter."
When asked why this was the case, Diana went on to say that she believes her problems with the Royal Family were because "I do things differently" and doesn't go by a "rulebook" as she leads with her heart and not her head.
She did a lot of good. She also did her best to destigmatize AIDS and I don’t think the whole family hated her.
3-When they were still newlyweds, the press began to discuss their marriage and the dominant face was Princess Diana and the press commented on how she dressed, what hairstyle, but according to Diana, they wanted to work together and be a team. During the events, more attention was paid to Diana's husband, and they decided to go out alone, she was offended. But despite this, they had common interests, but the press considered her stupid because she did not go to University. I think a marriage can't be happy if he had another mistress and this Camilla Rosemary.
1.The main plot of the interview is the life of Princess Diana , her depression , her relationship with her husband and his family , as well as the emotional state of Diana
ReplyDelete2.Yes, she had problems. She was the first member of the royal family to ever experience depression or express it . Her relatives didn't like it . They also talked about Diana, wrote about her, and were much more interested in her than in her husband. Because she did a lot of good things , did charity work, and was also very different from other members of the royal family. It was through her actions and her sincerity that she was able to bring this family closer to the people , for which everyone loved her.
3. As Diana said, Charles treated her coldly, they could not see each other for weeks, and soon after the birth of their second child in 1984, she learned that her husband had resumed a relationship with the married Camilla Parker-Bowles. Charles had known Camilla since the early 1970s, and they had dated, but their relationship had not ended: the prince had to serve in the armed forces, and the royal family did not approve of a relationship with a much less noble woman.
