  1. 1-His adopted name was Sidney Reilly. He was actually born Sigmund Rosenblum in Odessa in 1874. He ended up in 1925 in the hands of the Cheka, the Bolshevik secret police, but the circumstances of his death to this day remain a mystery. What is certain is that his exploits as a British secret agent were the stuff of legend, and that, even in an age top-heavy with espionage fact and fiction, his story cries out for dramatization.
