  1. 1)However, according to most estimates, it will definitely become the most expensive in the history of world football. Front Office Sports, an American consulting company that specializes in financing sports events, estimates the cost at $220 billion. About the same amount is called by the head of the organizing committee, Hassan al-Tawadi. If this assessment is correct, then the World Cup in Qatar will not only be the most expensive, but will surpass all previous championships combined in cost.
2)Al-Janoub Stadium was the first stadium built specifically for the World Cup in Qatar. The work has been carried out for five years since 2014. In May of that year, the arena with a capacity of 40,000 spectators was opened. In less than half a year, the final of the Emir's Cup and part of the games of the Persian Gulf Cup of Nations were played at the stadium. In 2020, like Khalifa, this arena hosted some of the matches of the Asian Champions League.
3)The successful holding of the 2022 World Cup, he notes, is important not only for Qatar - it is a symbol of the unity of the Persian Gulf countries, a contribution to their common reputation.
However, this will require something else: the infrastructure of the 2022 World Cup is not enough to simply build, it must be used after the tournament is over.

  3. 1. This cup is named the most expensive in the history of football, because the cost of preparation was $ 220 billion.
    2. They built the biggest football stadium to host the World Cup. But the climate was so hot that the grass needed an air-conditioning system. Since it won the bid to host, the transformation of the country was colossal. Eight stadiums, the airport, hotels, hospitals, roads and metro were opened to accommodate such a huge event. Also in 2017 Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Egypt cut all land, air and sea links to Qatar. That blockade was a shocking. And only in 2021 that blockade was ended.
    3. Perhaps a good tournament makes Qatar a top-tier destination for tourism and big events. If all goes well, Qatar will have earned its image in the world.
